Since opening its doors in February this year, Aysee Cebu has quickly made its mark by bringing the bold, comforting flavors of Kapampangan cuisine and Northern Luzon dishes to the Queen City of the South. Continuing its mission to serve delicious and quality Filipino food, Aysee Cebu proudly announces the launch of eight new items on its menu, highlighting comfort food classics, and beloved desserts.

The new offerings include Sinigang Na Gabi Pampano, Chicken Sisig, Bangus Sisig, Ensaladang Talong, Lumpiang Tauge, Crispy Pork Kare Kare, Pork Binagoongan, and Porkchopsilog. A must-try to end any meal on a sweet note are the Turon with Langka and the rich, creamy Ube Halaya.

According to Aysee Cebu’s Managing Partner, Frank Oliva, the latest additions aim to cater to the evolving preferences of their customers. He shared the inspiration behind the expanded menu, “When we opened, we tried to ask our customers, what else are you looking for? We checked on our menu in Manila, and these are there, so we added them first. There will be more additions coming in along the way. Probably by a year, we'll be all complete with the menu. But for now, we'll keep adding every now and then.

These dishes are not just new to Cebu diners but have long been part of the well-loved menu at Aysee’s main branch in Manila. Their addition in Cebu is a response to growing demand, particularly from customers looking for dishes that include more vegetables without compromising flavor.

Since the new menu items were introduced, feedback has been overwhelmingly positive. “Customers love the new additions, some are now selling well like the Crispy Pork Kare Kare and Pork Binagoongan,” Oliva noted.

Consistency in taste and quality remains a top priority for Aysee Cebu.

“The recipes that we have here, the menu that we have here. Everything is exactly the same as how it is cooked in Manila. Specifically because all of our chefs that are here are from Manila. From the main branch. Basically, we have on staff five chefs already. Because this is in preparation for the next branch as well. So these five chefs are all from the main branches in Manila. So they've been employed by Aysee for over 20 years,” Oliva explained.

Exciting things are on the horizon as Aysee Cebu plans to introduce set meals for groups, allowing parties of 5, 8, or 10 to easily order curated combinations for a more convenient and affordable dining experience.

“It’s just that they already set it, paired it all together, there's a little bit of price difference as well. So they can actually save a bit for the bundle,” Oliva shared.

In line with its growth, Aysee Cebu is also eyeing expansion, with a new branch planned for Talamban as early as July, and another possibly opening in October.

All new dishes are now permanently part of Aysee Cebu’s menu and will soon be available for delivery through food platforms like Grab.

Aysee Cebu is located at Vibo Place, Escario Street, Cebu City. It can accommodate up to 50 diners and operates from 10:00 AM to 12:00 AM on weekdays and until 1:00 AM on weekends.
